Krysia Gallien

Krysia Gallien’s art celebrates the dynamic of energy that underlies form.

She works primarily in watercolour sometimes adding ink and pastel accents.

Flowers are a favourite theme expressing beauty & abundance. Meditative landscapes and mythical figures invite the viewer to enter and dream.

Staying at the edge of abstraction, she invites the viewer to look beyond form and participate in the dance of creation. Her work is in private collections both in North America and Europe.

Recent work explores the ancient beauty of Japanese floral landscapes, especially peonies , rendered in a blend of watercolor with acrylic accents.
